Irregularity in the surface of paint film resulting in a dimpled surface.

The Causes

  • Improper spray gun setting
  • Thick paint viscosity

  • Long flash-off time when painting

  • Thinner too fast drying

  • Sanding on substrate not thorough

How to Fix

  1. Sand, clean, & polish defective area with Nippon Paint 910 Speed-Cut Compound or Nippon Paint 920 Ultra-Cut Compound
  2. If unsuccessful, sand down completely & repaint with Nippon Paint 238 2K Primer or Nippon Paint HS Filler follow by Topcoat.
